Last Saturday, Sarah and I took a train 80 km Southeast of Paris to Provins, France to discover something new. What we found was the most beautiful Medieval town.
Some highlights included:
Walking down cobble stone roads lined with houses built in the 12th century.
Hearing live street music from every direction in celebration of Fete de la Musique.
Wandering down the ramparts for incredible views of of the city and beyond.
Eating a traditional Crepe meal of Galette au chevre + hard cider + Recettes de crepes au Nutella.
Polishing our dust-covered shoes on a machine in the bathroom of the creperie.
Watching knights joust Medieval beasts in a show called "The Legend of the Knights."
Modeling the hat that has inspired a photo shoot around Paris - coming soon.
Reaching the terrace of Caesar's Tower through the MOST narrow stone encased staircase.
Visiting Saint-Quiriace Collegiate Church just as Joan of Arc did in 1429.
Sipping tea among the roses.
Making music of our own with the aid of lyrics on the iPhone.
I am so blessed by friendships that lead to adventurous times like these.
