A la maison

Here is a peak into our cozy sweet abode.  We are located in the 14th arrondissement*, which is so close to the center of Paris that we've visited every day since arriving two days ago (jet-lagged and all). By Metro the commute takes only 30 minutes, and this is time well spent people watching as hundreds of stylishly clothed individuals come and go around you. It may be one of my favorite things.

*Paris is divided into sections North and South of the Seine, more commonly known as the Rive Droite (Right Bank) and Rive Gauche (Left Bank), respectively. The city, often described as being shaped like a snail shell, is broken into 20 districts or arrondissements. The first arrondissement is at the center of the city, near the Seine river. Subsequent arrondissements spiral out clockwise.
